Effective March 1, 2026 · Last updated August 31, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy explains responsible use of Argo’s home intelligence, document analysis, chat, inventory, inspection, negotiation, and collaboration tools. It applies to every user, shared workspace, and integration.
2. What Argo is for
- Organizing property, home, asset, document, maintenance, project, and transaction information you are authorized to use.
- Understanding reports and preparing questions, planning ranges, possible next steps, and editable drafts.
- Helping homeowners, buyers, agents, providers, and authorized collaborators work from the same record.
- Creating private inventories and evidence records for personal, household, or authorized business use.
3. Prohibited use
You may not use Argo to:
- Access, upload, or disclose another person’s records without authorization.
- Facilitate fraud, discrimination, harassment, stalking, unlawful surveillance, deceptive impersonation, or exploitation.
- Make fully automated housing, lending, insurance, employment, or other high-impact eligibility decisions about a person.
- Present generated estimates, findings, or drafts as a licensed professional certification when they are not.
- Attempt to discover secrets, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, scrape at abusive scale, or reverse engineer protected systems.
- Use outputs to avoid legal duties, required disclosures, permits, inspections, or professional review.
4. Professional and high-stakes use
Agents and other professionals remain responsible for legal duties, client instructions, disclosure obligations, deadlines, and compliance. Argo can support judgment but does not replace licensed engineering, inspection, appraisal, legal, insurance, medical, or financial advice. Confirm safety-critical and contract-critical matters with qualified professionals.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and limit or suspend access to protect users, property data, and the service. We consider context, severity, history, and whether the issue can be safely corrected. Report possible misuse to compliance@askargo.com.
